The game-used jersey above is the jersey Russell Wilson worn on December 8th, 2019, against the Los Angeles Rams.
Here are a few things that stand out from this project:
- The goals was to expose jersey fully, without any matting covering it in any way, in order to highlight the fact this jersey was about as game-used as it gets.
- We mounted the jersey on our black suede, which always adds a subtle touch of elegance to the finished product and enables the jersey to stand out and shine.
- The two photos at the bottom perfectly match the dirt and stains on the jersey.
- The three Seahawks patches we included serve to brand the overall look and feel of the finished product. I especially love the idea of inward-facing patches, especially when we incorporate them at the top of the display.
- The plaque at the bottom is a conversational piece, which simply describe the exact date the game took place. It's a perfect touch to an amazing piece.
- The tight silhouette design around the jersey is meant to bring the eye's attention to the jersey and again highlight the dirt and stains.
- Finally we used Seattle Seahawks colors, the dark blue suede and the Irish green accent. We used our museum glass (best in the Industry) for maximum UV protection and virtually no glare in the display.

Did you know that Russell Wilson is also a really good Baseball player? Here's proof!
Here's what I found about his Baseball experience:
Wilson, a second baseman, was selected by the Colorado Rockies in the fourth round of the 2010 MLB first-year player draft. He hit .228 during two seasons in the minor leagues with Colorado and was selected by the Rangers in the December 2013 Rule 5 draft. He spent a day at the Rangers’ spring training complex in 2014 and 2015.
Wilson thanked the Rangers in a statement.
“While football is my passion and my livelihood, baseball remains a huge part of where I came from and who I am today,” Wilson said. “I’ve learned so much on the baseball field that translates to my game physically and mentally playing Quarterback in the NFL. I thank the Rangers and their great fans for making me feel at home and a part of the family! While I embrace the chance to be a New York Yankee, I will forever be grateful to be a part of a world class organization like the Texas Rangers.”
The bottom line is that Russell Wilson is a winner no matter what sport he plays or what he does in life.
