Framing the Ultimate Hole in One Golf Ball, Certificate, Flag and Scorecard
Custom FramingFraming a Hole-in-One Golf Ball, Certificate, Flag and Scorecard
Happy Saturday, Everyone! We just finished Framing this amazing Hole-in-One project for one of our customers and we just had to share how amazing it turned out.
Putting all the Pieces together: Before
The customer brought us a Quivira, Los Cabos, Golf Course Flag, the scorecard, the hole-in-one certificate and of course the ball and basically left the design details up to us. We have already done 5 framing projects for him.
Thinking Outside the Frame
In thinking about the overall design for this project, we wanted to go beyond the standard multiple mat openings for each item and go outside the Frame, literally.
For starters, we mounted the ball on the tee and incorporated it outside the glass for a more dramatic look, which you can see here:
Another detail is the grass-like fabric we found at a local fabric store, which we use to wrap the inner frame with, as well as the backing for all the pieces up and down the frame, which you can see here:
Details Galore
When we put the green against the artwork we thought it was a bit too green and so we soften the look by adding a black suede matting trip around the inner frame, as well as each of the pieces in the frame. This did the trick.
Finally, if you look close, you’ll see that the white backing is a golf ball texture matting that we incorporate it for an added touch.
Customer’s First Impressions
Our customer, Ryan, absolutely loved the frame. Here’s what he said on Instagram about it and below you can see a short video we recorded during the live unveiling.
Over to You!
I’d love to read your thoughts on this project. Please comment below and thank you for being here! You may also enjoy following us on Instagram, where we post more projects in real-time.
Does your company actually assemble the items and do the framing?
I have the ball and scorecard. It is from June of 2005.
HI Peter, yes we do, we do the whole process from scratch. If you are interested in something like this, please send us an email, which is listed at the top of the page.
